Core Virtues: Gentleness - Tim Olson - 3/7/2010

Gentleness, also translated meekness, is not weakness. It is strength under control. Jesus was the most powerful man whoever lived and he said, “I am gentle and humble in heart.” If we have gentleness it is expressed in the humble attitude that allows God to have control in our lives. Gentleness toward others involves acting for their good without self-interest and without losing control of our emotions.
