Monty and Cynthia have been attending Turning Point with their three children, Tyler, Madalyn and Danielle since February of 2007 and shortly after returning from a deployment to Iraq with Aco 1-161 INF in August of 2009 he was accepted as an Intern Pastor for Turning Point. God willing he will pastor the first church plant of Turning Point Church.
He is a graduate of Pasco Senior High School in Pasco, WA. He earned the Bachelors of Religion at Faith Evangelical College and Seminary in Tacoma, WA and is currently still attending Faith Evangelical while working toward a Masters of Divinity Degree.
He served on active duty in Germany with the U.S. Army as an Infantry Soldier with the 1st Armored Division and the 8th Infantry Division. His service in the Army Reserves includes the 104th TRNG Division and the 6th JTF. His National Guard duty includes Aco 1-161 INF, in which Monty served as an NCO Guntruck Commander and a Scout. He is currently assigned to the Joint Force Headquarters as a Chaplain Candidate as he received a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Chaplains Corps. |
